Ameliax Capital LLC ("Ameliax", "we", "us") is a vehicle sourcing and export company based in the United States, with its head office at 25 Featherwood Ct, Suite 43, Silver Spring, MD 20904, USA and an office at 131 Abeokuta Street, Ebute Metta, Lagos, Nigeria. By using this website or our services you agree to these terms. Ameliax Capital LLC holds State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Division of Motor Vehicles dealer licence WHL-4171.
2. Our service
We help customers buy vehicles from the United States and have them shipped to Africa and other destinations. We find vehicles that match your brief, arrange inspections, share photos and video, and coordinate purchase, export and shipping on your behalf.
We do not hold stock. Every vehicle is sourced to order from third-party dealers, auctions or sellers. The exact vehicle, price and services for your order are confirmed only in a written quote or invoice from us.

4. Quotes and prices
Every price is quoted individually, in US dollars unless stated otherwise, based on the vehicle found and the services you choose. A quote will list what is included, for example the vehicle, inspection, export documents and shipping. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them, because vehicle availability and prices change quickly.
Where a quote says FOB, it covers the vehicle loaded at the US port of export. Where it says CIF, it also covers shipping and insurance to the named destination port.
5. Inspection and approval
Before you pay for a vehicle, we inspect it against your requirements and send you photos, video and our findings. We will not purchase a vehicle on your behalf without your approval.
Our inspection is a visual and functional check carried out in good faith at the time of inspection. It is not a manufacturer's warranty or a guarantee that a vehicle is free from hidden or future defects. Vehicles are used and are sold in the condition shown to you unless your quote says otherwise.
6. Payment
- Payment is made by bank transfer to Ameliax's company bank account, using the details on your invoice.
- We will never ask you to pay into a personal account. If anyone asks you to, do not pay, and contact us straight away.
- We confirm every payment in writing and issue a receipt.
- Bank charges and currency conversion costs are your responsibility unless your invoice says otherwise.
7. Fraud and impersonation
People sometimes pretend to be Ameliax to take money from buyers. Ameliax only communicates through the official channels listed on this website, and only accepts payment into its company bank account after you have approved your vehicle. Ameliax is not responsible for payments made to any other person, account or channel. If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, contact us before paying. Read our fraud warning for more.
8. Shipping, risk and delivery
Delivery times on our website and in quotes are estimates. Shipping schedules depend on shipping lines, ports, weather and customs, which are outside our control. We will keep you updated and do our best to minimise delays.
Where marine insurance is included in your quote, it is provided by a third-party insurer on their terms. When and where responsibility for the vehicle passes to you is set out in your quote (for example FOB or CIF).
9. Import duties and local rules
Unless your quote says otherwise, you are responsible for import duties, taxes, port charges, clearing fees and complying with the import rules of your country, including any age, emissions or right-hand-drive restrictions. We can share estimates and recommend clearing agents, but estimates are not guarantees.
10. Cancellations and refunds
Requests and quotes are free and carry no obligation. Once you have approved a vehicle and paid, we may already have committed money to third parties such as sellers, auctions, inspectors or shipping lines. Any deposit, cancellation or refund terms for your order are set out in your quote or invoice. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible.
11. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about the vehicle you want, your contact details and your destination.
- Review the photos, video and inspection findings we send before approving a vehicle.
- Provide any identification or documents needed for purchase, export or import.
- Use this website lawfully and do not submit false or misleading requests.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ameliax is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or losses caused by third parties such as sellers, auctions, shipping lines, ports or customs authorities. Our total liability for any order is limited to the fees you paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, applies to new orders. Your quote or invoice applies to orders already in progress.
