Can you find a car that isn't listed?+
Yes. The cars on our site are examples - we source every car to order. Use the Request a car form or message us on WhatsApp with the make, model and budget.
Where do you source cars from?+
From major auctions and dealerships across the United States, including Manheim, CarMax, ACV Auctions, ADESA, IAA and Copart. Sourcing is handled by our head office in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Do you work with dealers and businesses?+
Yes. We supply dealers, companies and fleet buyers with regular or volume orders. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Can I see the car before paying?+
Yes. We send a detailed inspection report, photos and a walk-around video. Video calls are available on request.
What do you check during an inspection?+
Engine and transmission, body and paint, mileage, title and history, and every feature on your list. We check the car against the requirements you gave us.
What happens if a car fails inspection?+
We don't recommend it. We tell you what we found and keep searching until we find a car that meets your brief.
Why don't you show prices?+
We don't hold stock - we source every car to order. The price depends on the exact vehicle, its condition and shipping, so we prepare a free quote for each customer.
How do I pay?+
By bank transfer to our company account, only after you've approved the car. We never ask for payment to personal accounts.
What does FOB and CIF mean?+
FOB is the car price loaded on the ship. CIF also includes shipping and insurance to your port.
How do I know a message or payment request is really from Ameliax?+
We only contact you from our official email, phone/WhatsApp number and Instagram listed on our website, and we only accept payment into our company bank account after you've approved your car. If anyone asks you to pay into a personal account, or pushes you to pay urgently, don't pay - call us first to check. See our fraud warning page for more.
How long does delivery take?+
Most cars arrive at the destination port 4-6 weeks after payment, depending on the shipping route.
Which countries do you deliver to?+
Mainly Nigeria and Ghana, and other countries across Africa. Ask us about your destination.
Who pays import duties?+
Import duties and port clearance in your country are paid by the buyer. We can share estimates and recommend clearing agents.
