- Ask for payment by gift cards, crypto or money-transfer apps
- Ask you to pay before you've seen photos and approved the car
- Change our bank details by WhatsApp, text or social media message
- Pressure you to pay today to "secure" a deal
- Contact you from a personal email address (e.g. Gmail or Yahoo)

- Send you photos and video of the actual car before you pay
- Give you a written, itemised quote or invoice
- Ask for payment only to our company bank account
- Confirm every payment in writing with a receipt
- Answer if you call our official number to double-check
Warning signs of a scam
- Prices that are far below what anyone else quotes
- Someone claiming to be "from Ameliax" who found you on social media
- Urgency: "another buyer is waiting, pay now"
- Account names that don't match our company name
- Requests to keep the deal secret or avoid calling us
